This site collects nothing. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking scripts and no third-party embeds. Standard web server logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp) are kept briefly for security and are not used for any other purpose.
Clipwire's uploader is private software run by its operator on the operator's own server. It is not offered to other users and has no sign-up.
It requests a single Google OAuth scope, youtube.upload, for the operator's own Google account. The access and refresh tokens it receives are:
No Google data belonging to anyone other than the operator is requested, received, or stored.
Clipwire uses YouTube API Services. By using Clipwire you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google handles data as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Clipwire's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. On revocation the stored token stops working and is deleted from the server. Deletion can also be requested by email, and is carried out within 7 days.
Clipwire reads publicly available livestream clips through public APIs. It stores the public channel name, clip title, view count and clip URL to decide what to post, and the video file itself while it is being edited. It does not collect personal information about streamers or viewers.
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with a new date below.
